Whirlwind Golf Club (Cattail)

Whirlwind Golf Club (Cattail) is an 18-hole, par-72 resort course in Arizona, United States, designed by Gary Panks. It plays from 5,282 to 7,334 yards across rolling terrain threaded with desert canyons, gradual elevation changes, and multi-tiered greens. Cottonwood, mesquite, saguaro, and palo verde trees line the layout alongside native grasses, giving the course a distinctly Sonoran character. The course has hosted the LPGA's Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass and the Gila River Golf Classic, and is consistently ranked among the Best You Can Play in Arizona. A shared, double-ended practice facility accommodates up to 30 stations on each side, with the north side reserved primarily for lessons. At the clubhouse, the Sivlik Grill serves breakfast daily from 6:30 to 11:00, and an air-conditioned banquet room with state-of-the-art sound holds up to 350 people.
