Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, Foothills Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona is an 18-hole, par-72 links-style layout stretching to almost 7,000 yards. The course moves across lush rolling fairways, blue lakes, and rough rocky desert terrain — a combination that earns it a four-star ranking from Golf Digest and a listing among Phoenix's top golf courses. Practice facilities are extensive. The mountain-side driving range measures over 300 yards with target areas from 50 to 250 yards. A newly remodeled putting and chipping green covers over 5,000 square feet, with an additional putting green on the mountain. A large practice bunker and pitching facility complete the short-game area. The clubhouse includes the Sunset Grill restaurant, a half-way house serving beverages, snacks, and sandwiches, and The Bunker Golf Lounge — a bar with simulator bays, happy hour specials, and sports broadcasting. Cal SchalinApril 17, 2019Back 9 was painfully slow not a Marshall to be seen, waited on a couple 2-some.Half of the greens are unplayable. May as well put on the cart path, they are in better condition than some of the greens. If your paying more than $25....its overpriced. We won't be returning.
