Water Rock Golf Course

Set along the banks of the Owenacurra River in County Cork, Ireland, Water Rock Golf Course is an 18-hole public parkland layout designed by Paddy Merrigan and opened in 1994. The course plays to par 70 over 6,220 yards, with sand-based greens and water hazards coming into play across the back nine. Hole 12, known as Swan Lake, is a par 3 stretching to 240 yards from the back tee. The closing hole, a par 4, plays uphill into the prevailing wind. A dedicated putting green is available for warm-up. The clubhouse includes Table 8 Bistro, open seven days a week with a seating capacity of over 100, serving morning coffee, pastries, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and a Sunday carvery. A fully stocked bar overlooks the course from a balcony. The pro shop carries snacks and drinks, and changing rooms, showers, and a large car park are on site.
