Description
East Cork Golf Club is a parkland course on the outskirts of Midleton, County Cork, bordered by two rivers. It was founded in 1968 when Eamon and Peg Moloney converted their dairy farm into a nine-hole layout, designed by renowned Irish golf course architect Eddie Hackett and built by local contractor Ned Moran. The course was officially opened on 10 November 1969 by the late Brian Lenihan, T.D. The course was extended to 18 holes in 1975, with a clubhouse extension following in 1992. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in County Cork, holding an average rating of 4.3 on the platform.
