Description
The King Kamehameha Golf Club sits at 750 feet above the central Maui Valley in Waikapu, Hawaii, offering panoramic views of Mt. Haleakalā and the Pacific Ocean from every hole on the course. The 18-hole layout was originally designed by Ted Robinson, Sr. and later updated by his son, Ted Robinson, Jr. Their design philosophy centers on flexibility, memorability, and natural beauty. Five sets of tees allow golfers of any skill level to set their own challenge, while the course pushes back with strategic bunker placements, tiered greens, and five water features. At the top of the entrance road stands the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed clubhouse — 74,000 square feet spread across three levels, housing several Hawaiian art pieces. Members and guests enjoy a secluded setting removed from the activity of the valley below.
