Kahili Golf Course sits in the foothills of West Maui Mountain in Waikapu, Hawaii, offering bicoastal panoramas across a wide valley of sugar cane and greenery, with views stretching from the sea to the summit of Haleakala Volcano. Designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright and opened in 1991, the 18-hole layout measures 6,570 yards and plays to a par 72. It presents fair but genuine challenges for golfers of all levels. On the back nine, the par 3s play uphill and downhill to small greens, with the 13th hole delivering one of the course's most memorable vistas. The front nine brings a creek bed and a lake into play, demanding accuracy off the tee. The par 4s feature frequent elevation changes and doglegs in both directions, putting a premium on smart club selection. The par 5s reward long hitters who find the right position, offering realistic birdie and eagle opportunities.
