Sunningdale Golf Club (New)

Sunningdale Golf Club (New) is an 18-hole heathland course in Sunningdale, England, designed by Colt and Morrison and opened in 1923. It was laid out across terrain featuring small copses and broom, giving the course a distinct natural character. The original routing has evolved over time — the first five holes have remained largely as they were, though the lines of the first and eighteenth holes were reversed. Colt's sixth hole once played down what is now the ninth, running along its left-hand ridge toward a green set beyond the path leading to Valleys End and the Brickmaker's Arms. The course holds a perfect 5.0 rating from over 60 Hole19 golfers.
