Rusutsu Resort Golf 72 (Tower) is an 18-hole hillside course in Rusutsu, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, laid out across gently sloping terrain with a generous spread of trees throughout. Fairways are wide off the tee, but the design narrows the target progressively as you approach each green, rewarding precise approach play. Natural ponds and creeks feature on several holes, adding variety to the round. Bunkers are used sparingly, though each one makes an impression. The par-3 17th is a standout: a wooden bunker built up to head height with timber framing creates real pressure from the tee and demands a focused, accurate shot.
