Rusutsu Resort Golf 72 (River)

Rusutsu Resort Golf 72 (River) is an 18-hole hillside and woodland course in Kimobetsu, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. The River course plays relatively short — the par 5 opener is reachable in two — but the fairway undulations demand smart shot-making at every turn. Out-of-bounds left and right, pond carries, and stream crossings appear throughout, so mental discipline matters as much as technique. The Wood course offers more generous fairway width and a longer overall test. The par 5 fifth runs straight but features a three-tier green where pin position can easily invite three putts. The 12th hole presents the Wood course's only stream carry, requiring a committed swing to clear it.
