Golspie Golf Club

Golspie Golf Club, designed by James Braid and opened in 1889, sits on the Sutherland coast of Scotland, United Kingdom. The 18-hole, par-70 layout stretches 6,021 yards and blends links, heathland, and parkland terrain across a coastal setting with dunes, sea views, and a mountain backdrop. Hole 3 runs alongside the North Sea, its fairway protected by a sea wall. Hole 5 is a driveable par 4 with genuine risk-reward options. The course will host the James Braid Centenary Festival of Golf in 2026. Practice facilities include nets and a putting green. The clubhouse houses a well-stocked pro shop, a fully-stocked licensed bar, and the Golspie Inn restaurant, which serves catering options from breakfast to hearty post-round meals. The clubhouse looks out over the Moray Firth. Golspie Golf Club is semi-private.
