Description
Brora Golf Club is an 18-hole, 6,211-yard links course in Brora, Scotland, United Kingdom, designed by James Braid and opened in 1891. The layout runs over bent grass and beach sand, with burn water and gorse throughout. From the tenth tee, the railway comes into play, adding a distinctive navigational element. Hole 13, known as Snake, winds back towards the sea. Hole 18 finishes at a bunkered green requiring a two-hundred-yard carry, played under the scrutiny of the clubhouse windows. Rated 4.9 by 60+ Hole19 golfers, the course is open to the public. Golf lessons are available on site. The clubhouse includes a bar and catering, a Pro Shop with retail and custom fitting, and a view of the course.
