Whispering Pines Golf Course

Whispering Pines Golf Course sits roughly 12 miles east of Eau Claire on Highway 29, just 1.5 miles west of Cadott, Wisconsin. A member of the Chippewa Valley Golf Association since its founding in 1987, the course expanded to a full 18 holes in 1995 when a second nine was added to fulfill the original vision of founder Frank Kyes. This is a course that demands every club in the bag. Three of the four par fives are genuine tests — unreachable in two for most golfers — and the par threes call for a three to five iron depending on the wind. The par fours stretch past 400 yards from the back tees, and the layout mixes water hazards on several holes with tight fairways on others. Whispering Pines rewards repeat play, and the course continues to mature with time.
