Towneley Golf Club

Designed by James Braid and opened in 1932, Towneley Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-70 municipal course in Burnley, England. The layout winds through mature trees, with ponds, streams, and ditches adding variety across the round. It is rated 4.4 by 80+ Hole19 golfers and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in England. Practice facilities include a putting green, a short game area, and tuition available from the golf pro at The Prairie Sports Village. The pro shop stocks clubs, accessories, shoes, and clothing from Adidas, FootJoy, TaylorMade, and Callaway. Bistro 197 is a bright, airy bistro and bar upstairs, open to golfers and the general public, with balcony views over the course and breakfast and lunch service. A bar is also available upstairs, with a downstairs area showing Sky Sports reserved for golfers at weekends; alcohol is served from noon.
