The Villages - Evans Prairie Country Club

The Villages - Evans Prairie Country Club is one of the most-played courses in Florida on Hole19, and it's easy to see why. This 27-hole championship layout opened in fall 2012, built around Evans Prairie Lake in The Villages, Florida. Six sets of tees ranging from 3,801 to 7,052 yards make it accessible to golfers of every skill level. Designed by Clifton, Ezell and Clifton, the course places a premium on target golf across many of its holes. A standout example is the par-5 8th hole on the Killdeer nine, which runs along the east side of Evans Prairie Lake with the clubhouse visible in the background. The lake lines the entire left side of the hole and juts inward to form a peninsula, creating demanding landing areas and putting club selection front and center. The design team had previously delivered Bonifay Country Club in 2011, and Evans Prairie continues that tradition of crafting memorable, challenge-rich golf experiences for The Villages community.
