Description
The Club at Meyrick Park, a parkland course in Bournemouth, England, opened in 1894 and plays across tree-lined, undulating terrain with mature woodland and sandy soil throughout its 18 holes. The layout stretches to 5,600 yards and opens with a par 3 of over 200 yards across a valley to an elevated green. Hole 14 is a tree-lined par 4 dogleg that rewards accuracy from tee to green, and hole 18 brings the round back towards the clubhouse. Rated 4.1 by 70+ Hole19 golfers, the course operates on a semi-private basis. A practice area is available for warm-up before a round. The pro shop offers golf equipment hire. The Pulse Bar serves food and drinks, and the clubhouse restaurant provides two-course dinner and breakfast. On-site accommodation includes Standard, Superior Double and Twin Rooms.

Mark MitchellJune 09, 2016I've been a member at Meyrick Park for the last few years playing off around 15. It's a testing course with a great opening par 3 hole which in my opinion is the hardest opening hole in the country! If you can hit your woods/irons straight then your in for a decent round. If your off the fairway then expect to make bogeys or worse!
