Description
Iford Golf Centre (Christchurch) is an attractive parkland course sitting on the Christchurch and Bournemouth border, rated 3.9 by Hole19 golfers and one of the most-played courses in England on Hole19. The River Stour runs through the layout, with players crossing it via a bridge between the 12th and 13th holes. The 18 holes play as an easy walk across flat, generous fairways, though numerous bunkers and water hazards keep things honest throughout. The course prides itself on never using temporary greens or tees. In summer, the greens run fast and true, offering a fair challenge for golfers of all abilities.

Andy BeardAugust 28, 2025Very cheap which means very busy. Fairways are not in good condition but not as bad as some ( Queens Park, Bournemouth). Like the lay out of the course but there are the public to deal with walking dogs. The first cut of rough is like the 4th cut so off the fairway and it’s a lost ball due to poor maintenance. You get what you pay for as they say.
