It is a public park first and golf course second which means a lot of ‘giving way’ to dog walkers etc. Makes the round a lot longer and it is quite off putting seeing a stranger walk across the fairway as you are about to tee off
Phil LongJuly 26, 2024Aim at the flat parts of the course or you risk extremely difficult lies. Leave the driver at home when the ground is hard or you may run out of fairway. Not much first cut! Off the fairway and straight into three foot high grass, gorse and heather. Tough track.
