Superior National at Lutsen

Superior National at Lutsen is a 27-hole public course in Minnesota, United States, designed by Jeffrey Brauer. The layout moves through valley-like terrain with elevation changes, bending fairways, ravine ponds, and the Poplar River threading through the property. Lake Superior and the Sawtooth Mountains frame multiple holes, including hole 6 on the River nine, where Lake Superior's blue waters sit in the background, and hole 17 on the Canyon nine, which shares that same Lake Superior backdrop. The course has been ranked #3 in TravelPulse's World's 10 Most Spectacular Golf Course Views and is listed among Minnesota's Top 10 destination golf courses and Top 10 Resort Golf Courses by the Explore MN Golf Alliance. It has hosted The George Nelson Jr. Challenge Cup. PGA Professional lessons are available on site. The pro shop carries top golf brand names. The clubhouse grill is known for its burgers on the North Shore, and two decks overlook the Sawtooth Mountains and Lake Superior.
