Silver Bay Golf Course

Silver Bay Golf Course opened in 1983 in Silver Bay, Minnesota, and plays 9 holes at par 36 from 3,173 yards off the back tees. The layout runs across the east branch of the Beaver River through heavily forested hills, shaping a course where trees and water are constant factors. A spacious driving range sits adjacent to the course. Junior golfers receive free instruction on Wednesday mornings. The clubhouse includes a sandwich grill open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Mother's Day through season's end, and a bar with a full liquor license. The pro shop carries golfing accessories and Silver Bay Logo merchandise and clothing. The dining room seats 100 and is available for group or party rentals, with a porch area accommodating an additional 50 place settings. The course hosts the DAV 4-Person Scramble, the Zupancich Memorial Family Golf Scramble, and the North Shore Hunger Hero Scramble. It is open to the public.
