Description
Designed by Joe Lee and opened in 1973, Rivermont Golf Club is a private 18-hole course in Johns Creek, Georgia. The layout includes a hole 17 with a 110-foot drop, linked to Evil Knievel's daring jump, and holes 6, 10, and 18 praised by architect Tom Doak in 2015. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Georgia. The club has hosted the Super Sports Classic, Georgia State Women's Invitational, Georgia State Golf Association qualifiers, Southern Golf Association qualifiers, and United States Golf Association qualifiers. Practice options include a 9,000 square foot putting course designed in 2023 by Michael Riley, along with golf instruction, club fitting, and TPI services. Rivermont Dining serves as the on-site restaurant, with expansive windows and a dining room for formal gatherings. The club also has a well-stocked bar, a fitness studio, a simulator room, men's and women's locker rooms with bag and shoe storage, and a pavilion with firepit.
