Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., Quinta da Marinha is an 18-hole, par-71 resort course in Cascais, Lisbon, Portugal. The layout moves through pine forests with elevated tees and greens, Atlantic views, bunkers, and water hazards throughout the routing. Rated 4.4 by 400+ Hole19 golfers, the course carries a reputation as one of Portugal's most iconic golf courses. Practice facilities are extensive: a driving range with 32 mats, grass areas available on request, a dedicated bunker practice area, and TrackMan swing analysis technology. A putting green is also on site. The Golf Academy provides beginner to advanced coaching with PGA professionals available for personalized instruction. The clubhouse includes a Golf Shop with equipment, apparel, and accessories open daily, along with casual dining and drinks. The clubhouse overlooks the course.

George SofroniouSeptember 20, 2025As a hotel guest it was a real shame and a disappointment. Save yourself and don’t bother playing it, travel to Oitavos Dunes, Penha Longa, West Cliffs, Praia D’El Rey. The 13th hole has outstanding views of the Atlantic but otherwise a very weird course layout that does not flow quite so well. Lots of potential to the course however condition is scruffy and not great. On hole 13 we were approached by the caddy master asking for our buggy back because there 7pm limit and recommended to drive back to get a manual trolley and walk back onto the course (not realistic given distance away we were). This was not made aware to us at time of booking or when checking in. There was no organisation with the buggies either, with our 15:29 tee time we’d only received our buggy 5 minutes before our tee time. Not allowing us time to utilise the practice facilities.

Golf course has a variety of different typed holes. Most of them have fairways within pines. It was pretty windy when I played the course which made it pretty hard playing the course a first time. Otherwise the course would not be too difficult playing of the white tees.

A renumeração dos buracos feita recentemente gera confusão e não ajuda na sequência lógica dos buracos (ex: para ir para o 3 tem de se atravessar o 1). Falta sinalização para volrar à Club House. Ðriving Range longe da Club House não permite aquecimento em dias de torneio.
