As a hotel guest it was a real shame and a disappointment. Save yourself and don’t bother playing it, travel to Oitavos Dunes, Penha Longa, West Cliffs, Praia D’El Rey. The 13th hole has outstanding views of the Atlantic but otherwise a very weird course layout that does not flow quite so well. Lots of potential to the course however condition is scruffy and not great. On hole 13 we were approached by the caddy master asking for our buggy back because there 7pm limit and recommended to drive back to get a manual trolley and walk back onto the course (not realistic given distance away we were). This was not made aware to us at time of booking or when checking in. There was no organisation with the buggies either, with our 15:29 tee time we’d only received our buggy 5 minutes before our tee time. Not allowing us time to utilise the practice facilities.
