Lookout Mountain Club

Lookout Mountain Club is a private, 18-hole course in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, designed by Seth Raynor and opened in 1925. It has been ranked among the Top 125 Classical Golf Courses by Golfweek and earned Golf Digest's Top Renovation of 2023. The layout moves across mountain terrain with natural rock formations and bunkers throughout. Hole 2 plays toward the Historic Chickamauga Battle Field down to the lowest point on the property. Hole 3, called the Bottle, is shaped by a fairway bunker and rough closing in from the right. Hole 4 uses Raynor's Biarritz design with a central depression, hole 5 has a blind tee shot with a strong rightward slope and a green set in natural rock formations, and hole 6 plays from a tee box built on a large rock twenty feet high. Professional instruction is available through the Pro Shop, which also carries golf attire and equipment. The clubhouse includes a main dining area, covered patio, Men's Grille, and The Overlook, a bar with multiple TVs and elevated music. Swimming, tennis, pickleball, and a Fitness Center with personal training and childcare are also on site.
