Kendal Golf Club

Kendal Golf Club sits at an elevated position above the historic town of Kendal, offering panoramic views that stretch to the Yorkshire Dales to the east, the Lake District to the north, and Morecambe Bay to the south. The original 18-hole course was laid out by Old Tom Morris in 1897. When he first surveyed the land, Morris described it as 'admirably adapted for golfing purposes and in such an admirable situation' — a verdict that still rings true today.
