Jim Ager Golf Course

Jim Ager Golf Course is a 9-hole, par-27 municipal course in Lincoln, Nebraska, spanning 1,228 yards total. Open since 1965, it serves as an accessible entry point into the game. The pro shop runs March through November, weather permitting, and carries club rentals, golf balls, tees, gloves, and new and used clubs aimed at juniors and teens. A 5-station hitting bay with a net and artificial mats is available for warm-up. The Lincoln City Golf Academy — shared with other Lincoln City Golf facilities — runs adult and youth programs, private lessons, and clubfitting. A lounge and snack shop with snacks and drinks are also on site. Jim Ager has earned Golf Digest's award for Best Junior Golf Program in the municipal category, reflecting its focus on developing younger players.
