Holmes Golf Course

Holmes Golf Course, a municipal layout in Lincoln, Nebraska, opened in 1965 and plays to par 71 over 18 holes, stretching 6,300 yards from the back tees. Mature trees, water hazards, and bunkers define the layout throughout. It is one of the most-played courses in Nebraska on Hole19, and is scheduled to host the 2026 Men's & Senior Men's City Golf Championship. Practice options are extensive. The 350-yard downhill driving range has 18 separate hitting stations, grass teeing areas during the golf season, artificial turf mats in the off-season, and two sheltered hitting bays. A bentgrass putting green simulates the course's greens, and short game areas cover pitching, chipping, and sand shots. Golf clinics with professional staff are also available. The clubhouse includes a well-stocked golf shop, a full service bar, and a banquet room that accommodates 140 people. WiFi, two 52-inch flat screen televisions with AV inputs, and an outdoor lawn area are also on site.
