Indian River Golf Club

Indian River Golf Club is an 18-hole, semi-private parkland course in Indian River, Michigan, designed by Wilfrid Reid and opened in 1923. The layout moves through rolling terrain with elevation changes, tree-lined fairways, mature trees, and undulating greens, with water coming into play across the course. Practice options are extensive: a 280-yard driving range, a 6,000 sq ft putting and chipping green, and a 2,000 sq ft short game area with two bunkers and challenging slopes. Private lessons are also available. The course has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the best places to play in Northern Michigan and appears on Golf Digest's Best Places to Play list. It hosted the 2012 Michigan Senior Ladies Championship. Birdies Tavern provides a casual dining setting overlooking the 9th green, with an indoor sun room, dining room, and outdoor deck.
