Golfklúbbur Kópavogs og Garðabæjar (Leirdalsvöllur)

Golfklúbbur Kópavogs og Garðabæjar (Leirdalsvöllur) is an 18-hole championship course set within a 27-hole resort in Garðabær, just ten minutes from central Reykjavík. The Leirdalur layout stretches 6,000 metres and plays to a par of 71, offering a genuine test for golfers of all levels. The resort also features a 9-hole course built around lakes and bunkers, running approximately 2,400 metres from the back tees — a shorter, more relaxed option well suited to a quick round. The course was originally designed by Swedish architect Jan Sederholm, the only Swede to have designed a course in Iceland, and later redesigned by Icelander Andrés Guðmundsson when the facility expanded to 27 holes.
