Golfclub Vechta-Welpe

Golfclub Vechta-Welpe is an 18-hole semi-private course in Vechta, Lower Saxony, Germany, designed by Dipl. Ing. Rainer Preißmann and opened in 1989. The layout moves through forest, heathland, and woodland across gently rolling terrain with grass fairways throughout. The course carries a strong regional reputation: Golf-Magazin ranked it the third most beautiful course in Northern Germany in 1998 and placed it among the top 50 courses in Germany on two occasions. It has held a 4-star classification from the Bundesverband Golfanlagen since 2008. Hole19 golfers rate it 4.5, based on 60+ reviews. The driving range provides 18 open-air bays and four covered all-weather cabins. The restaurant, the 19th hole, serves coffee specialties, self-baked cakes and tarts, and freshly prepared dishes by Anne Maruscheck and team. Beverages are also available in the clubhouse or on the terrace.
