Golfclub St Pölten (Park) is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course in Lower Austria, Austria, opened in 2008 and run on a semi-private basis. Hole 9 plays to a green fronted by a pond, while hole 18 is a par 5 routed through the castle park, where a precise drive and careful second-shot placement are required. The course is scheduled to host the Raiffeisen Pro Golf Tour St. Pölten 2026. Practice facilities include a driving range with more than 25 grass tees and 8 covered mat tees, a putting green near the clubhouse, and a pitching and chipping green with a practice bunker. The Golf Shop St. Pölten carries apparel, shoes, balls, and clubs from brands including Adidas, Footjoy, and Titleist, with club fitting available in cooperation with the golf school. Michael SuppanerAugust 21, 2018Wunderbar ruhiger Platz, stark hügelig mit wenig Gemeinheiten aber aufgrund des hügeligen Geländes steht man selten eben und gerade beim Schlag, selbst am Fairway. Greens eher klein und teilweise sehr onduliert. Blick auf Alpenvorland ist toll. Ich kann nicht verstehen, wenn Rezession mit “Platz mäßig“ hier abgegeben wird (vlt. Rezession nach schlechter Runde geschrieben?), außer, man spielt sonst nur auf den “eltären Luxuskursen“.
