Golfclub Schwanhof

Golfclub Schwanhof is an 18-hole, par-72 layout in Luhe-Wildenau, Bavaria, Germany, stretching from 4,916m to 6,034m depending on the tees selected. Designed by Reinhold Weishaupt and Jerry Pate, the course runs across rolling hills within a recreational area kept in its original natural state. Several holes define the character of the round. The opening hole is a 266m par 4 where accuracy is required, with a small green protected by bunkers. Hole 3 is a par 3 over a picturesque pond, demanding an exact shot to a green flanked by a bunker. Hole 4 is one of the longer holes on the course — a par 5 with a two-tiered green and bunkers coming into play on the second shot. Hole 5, a par 4 through a narrow valley with a small lake, was rebuilt in spring 2008. The course has been recognised as Golf Course of the Year in 1995, 1997, and 2000. Access is semi-private, and the club office is open Monday through Sunday, 09:00–18:00.
