Golfclub Feldafing

Golfclub Feldafing, opened in 1926 in Feldafing, Bavaria, Germany, ranks in the top 5 among the most awarded golf facilities in Germany and has hosted a long list of tournaments including the Feldafing Masters, the Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth Hickory Cup, and the König Maximilian Short Track Matchplay. The 18-hole private layout runs through tree-lined fairways with elevation changes, bunkers, water hazards, and alpine views. Several holes sit close to Starnberger See: hole 3, a par 5, offers a view of the lake from the green, and hole 10, a short par 4, shares that same outlook. Hole 5, a par 4, plays alongside an orchid biotope on the right, while hole 9, a par 5, moves through the old tree stock of Lenné Park. Golfakademie Feldafing provides individual and group instruction, beginner courses, course proficiency preparation, and youth training with PGA professionals. The pro shop is open Tuesday through Sunday. The Clubrestaurant, managed by Karina Hatschatrian, includes a sun terrace with lake views.
