Golfanlage Gut Rieden (18h) opened in 1991 on moraine hill terrain near Starnberg, Bavaria, Germany, with hilly fairways running through old tree stands and panoramic views of Starnberg Lake and the Alps. The semi-private 18-hole layout has hosted the DMM Herren – 2. Bundesliga Süd and the CEO Golfers World Challenge. Rated 4.8 by 90+ Hole19 golfers and a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Bavaria. Practice facilities include a driving range with 55 tee positions (23 covered, accessible daily outside secretariat hours), two putting greens of different sizes, a pitching green, and a practice bunker with target green. Pro lessons are available, with an indoor facility open October to March, 10:00–20:00. The Chervò Pro Shop carries clothing and accessories, open Wednesday to Sunday 10:00–16:30. Custom club fitting with Helmut Baumgartner using a Flightscope X2 Launchmonitor is also available. The PANORAMA ALPINE restaurant serves Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–22:00.
