George Town Golf Club

George Town Golf Club has been welcoming golfers to Bell Bay, Tasmania since 1954. The 18-hole layout covers 5,249 metres off the men's tees (par 68) and 5,075 metres off the women's tees (par 72), built across a 9-hole course with 18 tee beds. The undulating terrain rewards accurate play as much as distance, with fairways presenting varied lies and greens that feature subtle breaks. Views over Bell Bay add to the appeal throughout the round. The recently refurbished clubhouse includes a well-stocked bar with draught beer on tap and a function area suited to events and weddings. The course is open to the public seven days a week outside of competition times and is available for group bookings. The bar operates on competition days and by arrangement.
