Mowbray Golf Club

Mowbray Golf Club sits in the northern suburbs of Launceston, Tasmania, and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Tasmania. Founded in 1934 as a 9-hole layout, the club expanded in the 1960s to its current 18-hole course, which measures over 6,000 metres and features two Par-5s, three Par-3s, and the remaining holes as Par-4s. The clubhouse, originally opened in 1975, was renovated in 2018. The club carries a strong competitive record. Its Division 1 Pennant team won nine consecutive Northern and State Pennants from 1996 to 2004, and in 1999 the club claimed all four State Pennants across Divisions 1, 2, 3, and Colts. With over 300 members and regular weekly competitions — Ladies on Tuesdays, Veterans on Wednesdays, and whole-of-club competitions on Saturdays — Mowbray is a family-oriented club with a welcoming culture. Visitors are encouraged to play the course, enjoy the clubhouse, or join as a member.
