Franklin Canyon Golf Course

Set on rolling hillsides in Hercules, California, Franklin Canyon Golf Course is an 18-hole public layout designed by Robert Muir Graves and opened in 1968. The course winds through mature oaks and gum trees, with two ponds, tight doglegs, and large undulating greens shaping play throughout the round. Rated 4.0 by Hole19 golfers and one of the most-played courses in California on Hole19, it draws a wide range of players to the area. A large driving range with 20 stalls sits next to the clubhouse, and a practice bunker is also available on site. The fully stocked pro shop carries equipment and apparel from Titleist, Footjoy, TaylorMade, Callaway, and other brands, with rental clubs on hand. The Canyon Grill serves burgers, wraps, sandwiches, and on-the-go options, while the Canyon Tap House pours ten draft beers alongside a full bar. Event space includes a tournament pavilion seating 100 guests with a connecting patio and a 200-person banquet room.
