I play this course fairly regularly. It is usually in good condition, given the fact that it's a public course. The landscaping crew works very hard which is greatly appreciated. However, despite the partial cartpath renovations, some recent changes in course operations are more than disappointing. Notably, they have added a speed limit governor to all of the golf carts. This slows the golf cart down to painfully slow speeds - 6 MPH max! It is utterly maddening for the experienced player. Supposedly, the reasoning behind reducing the golf cart speed is to prevent the wild and wacky weekend golfers from driving recklessly about the course, causing damage to the carts. What course management does not recognize is that not everyone is irresponsible, and that they are destroying the golfing experience for their regular and low handicap players. Removing the regulator for these players is the right solution. But until management understands that the "one size fits all" concept does not work here, their biggest revenue source, their regular players, will continue to decrease...
