Currie Golf Courses (West)

Currie Golf Courses (West) is an 18-hole municipal layout in Midland, Michigan, and one of the most-played courses in Michigan on Hole19. Designed by Jerry Mathews of Natural Golf Design, the course was originally built as a nine-hole layout before expanding to 18 holes in 2002. The redesign carved a new front nine out of naturally wooded terrain between M-20 and the Tittabawassee River, while the original nine holes were fully reimagined as part of the project. Five tee boxes make the course accessible to casual golfers while keeping the back tees genuinely demanding for low handicappers. The result is a modern design that holds its own against many of Michigan's top resort courses.
