Voted by Midland Daily News readers as the #1 Best Place to Experience Golf Locally, Currie Golf Courses (East) is a 9-hole municipal layout in Midland, Michigan, designed by Gilbert Currie. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Michigan. The East Clubhouse has been remodeled as a practice facility clubhouse and is flanked by a putting green. A pavilion accommodates up to 150 people, and an outdoor patio and deck are available. The Golf Shop carries merchandise. Shared practice facilities include a 310-yard driving range with a 21,600 square foot grass teeing area, five elevated target greens, and 15 artificial mats, plus a practice bunker. The Currie Golf Academy runs private and semi-private instruction, junior programs, and military clinics.
