Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth, Georgia has earned a Four-Star rating from Golf Digest, a spot on Golf Magazine's Top 100 Courses You Can Play, and recognition among Golfweek's Best Municipal Courses in the US — and it is one of the most-played courses in Georgia on Hole19, rated 4.7 by 60+ Hole19 golfers. Designed by Ken Dye and opened in 1993, this public 18-hole, par-71 layout runs seven holes along Lake Acworth, with challenging mounds adding variety across the grounds. Practice options include a driving range with 19 hitting stations, a putting green, and a chipping green with bunkers. PGA instruction is available, along with junior and adult clinics and camps. The clubhouse was expanded in 2021.

Jeff SmithSeptember 06, 2024This is one of the best municipal golf courses in the country. Tough but fair with Great Lake scenery. But selfishly, I say don’t play it much as I do enjoy getting good tee times and pbeing able to walk on as a single most times that I want to. :-)
