CASIO World Open - Kochi Kuroshio Country Club is an 18-hole layout situated at the eastern edge of central Kochi Prefecture, in Geisei, Japan. The course enjoys a mild climate, good transport access, and sweeping views over the Pacific Ocean, giving it a grand and dynamic character. The finishing stretch is particularly compelling. The par-4 16th was significantly redesigned to raise the excitement level — a guard bunker that once ran alongside a pond was extended into the green, and a new teeing area was added at around 320 yards out, making an eagle or one-shot reach a real possibility. It feeds into the par-4 17th, rated the toughest hole in the 2018 tournament, before closing on a par-5 18th where birdies and eagles are genuinely in play. These final three holes regularly decide the outcome of the CASIO World Open.
