Carolina Lakes Golf Club, in South Carolina, has earned a place as one of the most-played courses in the state on Hole19 — and the layout gives that standing clear grounding. Designed by Tim Freeland, this public 18-hole course plays to par 72 from up to 7,007 yards. The routing moves through tall pines, maples, and oaks alongside the Catawba River, with natural streams, several ponds, elevation changes, and bunkers shaping decisions throughout the round. Instruction is available from Class A PGA professionals on site. The Tavern at the Lakes provides a full-service bar and a menu with views of the practice facility. The clubhouse also includes a pro shop and event space for golf outings and private functions.
