Ballantyne Country Club

Rees Jones designed Ballantyne Country Club, which opened in 1996 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has since been rated in the Top 100 Golf Courses in North Carolina. The private 18-hole layout plays over Bermuda grass fairways and TifEagle Bermuda grass greens, with Zeon Zoysia tees. Practice facilities include over 20 grass stations on the driving range, a putting green, a short game area with three sand bunkers, and private lessons, group clinics, and junior programs. The pro shop carries apparel and offers active club fitting with Callaway, Odyssey, Ping, Mizuno, Taylor Made, Srixon, and Titleist clubs — part of a setup that earned a Top 50 Private Range Facilities in the Country ranking. The Cabana Bar & Grill provides indoor and outdoor dining, and multiple meeting spaces are available. Ballantyne Country Club is one of the most-played courses in North Carolina on Hole19.
