Broomieknowe Golf Club

Broomieknowe Golf Club, a semi-private parkland course in Bonnyrigg, Scotland, opened in 1905 and plays across tree-lined terrain with fast-draining sub-soil that keeps the course in good condition through wetter months. The 18-hole layout has several holes worth noting. Hole 4 doglegs right and is guarded by a large cedar tree — the only hole on the course with no bunkers. Hole 5 is a downhill par 3 of 167 yards to a large green. Hole 8 is the course's only par 5, offering a birdie opportunity for longer hitters. Hole 12 is rated the hardest hole on the course. The clubhouse restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a specialty coffee menu available daily until 9pm and a cocktail menu. A well-stocked pro shop is on site, and a TrackMan Simulator room is available for members at £10 per hour.
