Designed by Wayne Styles and Jon VanKleek and opened in 1933, this 18-hole, par-70 municipal parkland course in Brookline, Massachusetts plays across peaks and valleys, with greens sitting up high on hills and fairways dropping down into meadows — in some places over 30 feet of ledge separates the two. The course stretches between 6,208 and 6,211 yards. Practice options include a full-length driving range — the closest to downtown Boston — a putting green, a chipping area, and PGA instruction through Director of Instruction Duncan Smith and a team of PGA Teaching Professionals, with lessons available on the range, putting green, and on course. The Golf Shop is open daily from 9am to 5pm and offers club re-gripping with next-day turnaround. The Hemlock Grill, on the main floor of the clubhouse overlooking the 18th green, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with BBQ from a smoker and award-winning fried chicken under Executive Chef Alex Sáenz. Free parking is available at the entrance.
