Charles River Country Club is a private 18-hole course in Newton, Massachusetts, designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1921. The club has hosted the 2003 USGA Men's State Team Championship, the 2006 Massachusetts Open, and stroke-play qualifying rounds for the 2013 U.S. Amateur Championship. Practice facilities include a multi-tee, all-season 140,000 square foot driving range, expansive putting greens at the first tee box, and a large short game area adjacent to the range. Year-round instruction is available through individual or group lessons and specialized clinics. The Golf Shop covers custom club fitting, regripping, and apparel. Members also have access to a locker room and an indoor Trackman Golf Simulator.
