Description
Golf Resort Karlštejn, designed by Les Furber and Jim Eremke and opened in 1993, sits in Liteň, Central Bohemian Region, Czechia. The 27-hole layout moves through a wooded hilly landscape shaped by limestone rocks, full-grown trees, a deep ravine, water reservoirs, and sand barriers. The opening two holes set the tone early. Hole 1 is a par 5 flanked by large shallow bunkers on both sides, with the green closed between them. Hole 2 plays from a steep hill past a big bunker to a green also protected by bunkers. The course has hosted the 1997 PGA tournament and the Chemapol Trophy. It is rated 4.5 by 80+ Hole19 golfers and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Central Bohemian Region. The academy covers individual and group teaching, a kids and junior golf school, beginners courses with certification preparation, golf clinics, training groups, and physiotherapist consultation.
