Golfový klub Líšnice

Golfový klub Líšnice is an 18-hole course in Líšnice, Central Bohemian Region, about 15 km from Prague via the D4 motorway toward Mníšek pod Brdy and Příbram. Founded in 1928, it is the second oldest golf course in the Czech Republic, after Mariánské Lázně. The layout has changed considerably since its early decades, when holes crossed one another. Its current form took shape from the late 1970s onward and was completed in the second half of the 1990s, with an extensive irrigation system added as a further improvement. The course sits among open fields and offers wide views toward the Brdy hills to the northwest and the Vltava and Sázava river valleys to the southeast. A driving range with both covered and open bays is available on site. The clubhouse, built in 1933, is the course's defining landmark, offering a traditional club atmosphere with a terrace overlooking the fairways.
