Westlake Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course in Cape Town, Western Cape, designed by the club's own members with input from professionals over the years. The greens are Poa Annua, a delicate grass that demands careful maintenance but rewards golfers with an excellent putting surface. Fairways, tee boxes, semi-rough, and rough are predominantly Kikuyu, the standard turf across South Africa. The course is maintained daily — greens and bunkers are tended every day, while fairways and rough are mowed weekly. The rough can be demanding, and the club takes pride in presenting a genuine test of golf. A short driving range extends to 160 metres, and two chipping and putting greens bordered by a bunker are available to sharpen your short game before you head out. Westlake Golf Club is one of the most-played courses in Western Cape on Hole19, rated 4.4 by Hole19 golfers.
