Description
West Woods Golf Club, a municipal course in Arvada, Colorado, was designed by Richard M. Phelps and Rick Phelps and opened in 1994. The 27-hole layout plays across terrain shaped by Ralston Creek, elevation changes, and fairway bunkers. Hole 1 is a short dogleg right par-4 playing 388 yards from the back tees and 289 from the forward tees. Hole 5 is a long, severely uphill par-5 at 556 yards from the back tees, with three shelves in the landing area. The driving range offers warm-up, medium, and large buckets, with artificial turf available. The Pro Shop carries discounted range card packages. Rated 4.5 by Hole19 golfers and one of the most-played courses in Colorado on Hole19.

Dog track. Course in poor condition. Club house under construction. Somehow suckers like me still pay to play there. Not anymore. But, it beats working!
